New Franchise California Pizza Kitchen in Costa Rica

Casual Dining Leader Continuing Franchise Development with Spacious 2 Floor Position in Costa Rica. California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), creator of California-style pizza, announced the opening of a new franchise position in Costa Rica, further expanding CPK’s global footprint in Latin America. The restaurant will be located in the Multiplaza mall in Escazu, outside San Jose. This latest CPK franchise formed on top of a significant year for the brand, which opened new restaurants in Canada, India and Chile earlier this year.

CPK’s new franchise position will be owned and operated by Byron Mora Porras, Chairman of Conceptos Gastronomicos, part of a large industry that currently operates restaurants and retail stores in eleven countries across Central and South America.

Located just outside the bustling capital city of San Jose in the popular Escazu district, this new restaurant is part of the recently renovated Multiplaza mall that caters to local Costa Ricans as well as tourists. This spacious 2-storey restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows and a large outdoor patio area to embrace Costa Rica’s warm tropical air. Shoppers looking for a relaxing place to have lunch or dinner with family and friends can enjoy the spacious indoor dining area filled with accents titled California to commemorate the state’s bright and relaxed atmosphere. In addition to classic California-inspired pizza, pasta and desserts, the menu will feature specialty items such as CPKs Carbonara Pasta, Dynamite Shrimp, Hot Wings and the new West Coast Burger launching last October. The West Coast Burger is made with a signature blend of Wagyu beef, Chuck and Brisket topped with melted American cheese, Applewood Nueske smoked beef, caramelized onions, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce and house made burger sauce and served with crispy potatoes.

The new restaurant is located on Boulevard Camino Real, off Autopista Prospero Fernandez Hwy, Escazu, Costa Rica, 10201 and is open from 11:00am–10:00pm daily.
